About Me
Kai Simon commenced studying
Computer Science at Universität Freiburg Germany, in
October 2000, with minor Mathematics. In May 2003 he obtained his
diploma. Four
months later, he joined the Databases and Information Systems group
(DBIS) in Freiburg, headed by Prof. Dr. Georg Lausen, as PhD. student
and research fellow. Two weeks after the defence of his PhD. thesis he joined the Averbis GmbH, as a technical consultant and project manager. Averbis is a spin-off of the Department of Medical Biometry and Statistics of the University of Freiburg, providing search and classification solutions for the life science sector.
