Michael Färber received his PhD (Dr.-Ing.) in February 2017 in the research group Knowledge Management and Web Science (Prof. Dr. Rudi Studer), Institute AIFB, Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT). In April 2017, he joined the research group on Databases and Information Systems of Prof. Dr. Georg Lausen at the University of Freiburg. From October 2017 until September 2018, he was also JSPS fellow at Kyoto University, Japan.
Michael Färber's research interests cover Natural Language Processing (esp. Information Extraction), Semantic Web, Machine Learning, Information Retrieval, Digital Libraries, etc. A list of publications can be found at Google Scholar and at DBLP.
